Static hyperspace field

Canon Linked from 2 articles

A static hyperspace field was a field created by a specialized generator. It applied the hyperspace's temporal effects over a specific location, affecting computers and databanks whose calculation speeds were accelerated to a significant degree, while leaving organics and their surroundings unaffected. By 34 ABY, the First Order had developed a functioning static hyperspace field generator which they used in their prototype hyperspace tracker to track the fleeing Resistance forces from their base on D'Qar.
