Talus Archives

The Talus Archives was an archive containing information on the Core Worlds planet Talus. The "Education" section of the archives contained the file "Governor P'tan's Reforms," which covered the xenophobic reforms of Ili P'tan, the planet's Imperial Planetary Governor, including the segregation of schools on Talus. Another file stored in the "Education" section was titled "Parental Petitions," which contained information on petitions by human parents that called on schools to segregate their children away from non-humans they believed were ruining their education. A file on Imperial Algorithm XP27, which was used to manipulate the grades of both human and non-human children in schools on Talus in order to manufacture evidence of human superiority, was also stored in the archives' "Education" section. In 35 ABY, the historian Beaumont Kin mentioned the Talus Archives and referenced the three files while discussing P'tan's reforms in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire.
