The Galaxy Britain Built

The Galaxy Britain Built is a BBC documentary primarily on the making and impact of the 1977 original trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, with a particular focus on the British talent behind Star Wars. Presented by David Whiteley, directed by Matt Wildash, and executive produced by Diana Hare, the documentary was initially a 60-minute-production subtitled Droids, Darth Vader And Lightsabers and was broadcast on BBC Four on December 21, 2017. An extended 90-minute-production premiered on BBC Four on December 16, 2019, subtitled The British Force Behind Star Wars.
