An ultrasonic vocabulator was a custom vocabulator that synthesized a voice. General Grievous spoke through an ultrasonic vocabulator, which strengthened his harsh, forceful voice, and nearly identically matched his original voice. Grievous's vocabulator was located behind his cybernetic faceplate's duranium teeth, sitting where his teeth would have been if he still had a mouth.
