Unidentified asteroid belt

An asteroid belt was located in the galaxy. At one point in 228 BBY, the human Jedi Padawan Ram Jomaram and the Alcedian Jedi youngling Kildo became trapped in the asteroid belt, where they encountered a Squall Spider cruiser of the Nihil marauder organization.

The two Jedi ultimately escaped and made their way to the Outer Rim planet Eriadu, where the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order were battling the Nihil. After saving the Jedi Knight Qort and Jedi youngling Zint, Jomaram began telling Qort about the incident in the asteroid belt, though as it was a long story, he noted he would need to tell the Jedi Knight about it at a later point.
