A man with a gravely voice represented a crime syndicate on the planet Bothawui during the Galactic Civil War.

In 3.5 ABY, he attempted to negotiate the purchase of the contents of a certain briefcase from a courier representing another crime syndicate, giving 10,000 credits upfront.

Thinking that the courier had arrived in a Bothan hotel in Drev'starn, he sent an anonymous message setting time and location for their meeting; a warehouse in a business district. However the message was misdelivered to a group of Alliance Intelligence operatives, one of whom coincidentally happened to have an identical physical appearance to that courier.

The man waited in the shadows for the contact, covered by a group of thugs. He also fell for the similarity when the Rebels arrived: first he inquired them about the courier's Rodian partner, puzzling the Rebels, who instead expected to find their operations contact. The man demanded to see the merchandise, and supposed they were trying to hold off when they tried to explain the misunderstanding. As the man had paid the half price upfront, he gave them one more day to deliver the merchandise.
