Unidentified crime syndicate courier

A courier working with a crime syndicate on the Bothan homeworld of Bothawui.

The courier and their Rodian partner often stayed at a Bothan hotel, few days each time, and had the custom of eating in their own room.

The courier was in possession of a briefcase, the contents of which competing criminal groups were willing to kill for, a fate that befell their Rodian partner. A man had paid the courier 10,000 credits upfront, and promised to pay the same amount after the courier delivered the briefcase in their meeting in Drev'starn.

The courier became enveloped in a case of mistaken identity when a group of Alliance Intelligence operatives arrived on the planet, one of whom coincidentally happened to have an identical physical appearance.

The night the Rodian partner was murdered, the courier went to the Stone Grotto alone, hiding the much-coveted briefcase under the table. Two well-dressed Rodians, came and seized the criminal, claiming the briefcase.

The Rebels also had found a lead to that place and witnessed the hostage situation as it erupted into chaos. When the Rebels tried to intervene, one of the kidnappers brandished a thermal detonator and threatened to destroy the entire club, attempting to grab along the unfortunate look-alike.

Just as their escape seemed certain, Bothan police forces stormed the area, sealing off the streets outside and forcing the desperate kidnappers into a final, dangerous standoff inside the club. Ultimately, the courier was apprehended by local Bothan police.
