Vader's Legacy

Vader's Legacy is an unpublished article written by Abel G. Peña and illustrated by Joe Corroney. It was to be a Star Wars: Legacy of the Force tie-in, highlighting the legacy Darth Vader left behind after his death, including species he enslaved, his dark side strongholds, and his various dark side students. A supplemental article appearing on Hyperspace was also expected.

It was originally planned to appear in Star Wars Insider 88 but first pushed back to Star Wars Insider 90, and then Star Wars Insider 92. On October 2009, in the interview to New Jedi Order Encyclopedia Abel G. Peña stated that the article was not going to published by Lucasfilm, though parts of it can still be recycled for other projects.

Abel G. Peña has revealed a number of subjects to be covered in this article: 501st Legion Bast Castle Darth Vader's Palace Flint Kharys Lumiya Noghri Prophets of the Dark Side Vongerella (Including name and backstory) Domina Tagge Orman Tagge Tao Wilhuff Tarkin Antinnis Tremayne Vost Tyne A connection to the "Sinister Alliance" RPG seed from The Emperor's Pawns, which dealt with Carnor Jax meeting Nom Anor and a Yuuzhan Vong/Sith alliance Peña allegedly sent a copy to author Joe Bongiorno for research. Bongiorno released Vader's Legacy on his website in 2025.
