Abel G. Peña

Abel Gustavo Lopez Peña IV is an author who has written reference books and articles for Star Wars Insider, the Official Star Wars Website, the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, Star Wars Gamer, The Official Star Wars Fact File and Vader: The Ultimate Guide. He is also a translator of rare Spanish and Italian Star Wars comics. He is known for referencing obscure and out-of-print Star Wars material in his work. Peña posted on both Star Wars: Blogs and the Jedi Council Forums under the names "Halagad" and "Halagad_Ventor" respectively.

This interest in the obscure West End Games character Halagad Ventor led Peña to his second role in Star Wars, that of a model. In 2005, artist Joe Corroney used Peña as the basis of his rendering of Ventor for Insider 84 HoloNet News.

He is a member of the Star Wars Fanboy Association.
