Vanilla was a flavoring substance. The sentient Kitonak species exuded a substance from their skin that smelled of vanilla. While in Neshorino on Abednedo, Yrica Quell noted a faint odor of vanilla and dust, and considered it was the natural musk of the Abednedo people. The substance shared its name with "Vanilla Champion" and "Vanilla Clubs," a costume and weapon respectively, which were used by the Grand Arena Hunter Grozz in 9 ABY.
