Vergesso Control monitored all starship traffic at the Vergesso Base shadowport in the Lybeya system, as well as its defenses. It was situated in the middle of the Base Operations Center level of the Base.
Vergesso Control checked approaching ships against Bureau of Ships and Services files and assigned appropriate docking bays. Ships slaved their controls over to Vergesso Control for safe landing, though many captains refused to do so, incurring the base's manual landing fee and risking damages.
