Warehouse district (Tal'cara)

The planet Kothlis' capital city of Tal'cara included a crime-ridden warehouse district. It occupied the southern areas of the city, and to the east included a couple of apartment complexes.

A modified unirail cargo line connected the Kothlis starport with the warehouses. Hatches on the ground (and the unirail's ceiling) facilitated loading and unloading. There was such a transfer station in every warehouse.

The area was dimly-lit and grimy, frequented by outcasts and criminals. Local police patrols avoided the area at all costs.

Many of the warehouses were actually fronts for spy safehouses and facilities. They were so well camouflaged that no being could discover them, even if one was looking for one. Torel Fey'jia's underground Spynet Facility was located 400 meters away from the unirail loading hatch of a (intentionally) abandoned and dilapidated building with scattered empty transcubes.

It housed Merkur's Cab Service as well as a Bothan safehouse under Koth Melan.
