The Wise Laws of Rana was a set of ancient laws created by Queen Rana Mas Trehalt to govern her subjects on the planet of Duro around the same period when the planet was being brought into the Galactic Republic. At least one scroll was inscribed with the Wise Laws of Rana and left within the Valley of Royalty as a treasured artifact from Duro's antiquity.
This scroll would be taken by the Duros archaeologist, Dustini Spa Ronii, in 5 ABY after Grand Moff Bertroff Hissa began scourging Duro for artifacts to bring to the Prophets of the Dark Side. The scroll containing the laws, alongside several other relics, were ferried by Dustini to the Rebel Alliance base on Dagobah, known as Mount Yoda, for safe keeping.
