The Bestine junkyard was a junkyard in the city Bestine on Tatooine, the desert planet in the Outer Rim. During 3 ABY, a scavenger named Otip Ashtep operated out of the junkyard.
In 3 ABY, the scoundrel Kay Vess visited the junkyard at least twice. Once to locate someone that could install a laser turret to her EML-850 light freighter, the Trailblazer. A mechanic at the junkyard directed Vess towards a Jawa named Entip in the South Jundland Wastes. During another visit, Vess spoke to a Weequay engineer about their grandfather's surveying notes about the Mos Algo mine.
