The Desert of Salma, also known as the Salma Sands,, was a vast desert located on the Forest Moon. A dusty, barren, and harsh expanse pockmarked with acrid and acidic pools, it was bordered by tall mountain ranges. The Ewoks, one of several sentient species native to the moon, typically avoided to traverse the desert, which was often roamed by gigantic Goraxes.
