The Dragonbird Gardens was a garden complex located on the planet Aargau that was well-known for its grandeur. Baron Tagge, informal leader of the plutocratic cabal Galactic Corporate Policy League, invited members the League and members of companies with ties to the Corporate Sector to a week-long conference.
His plan for the conference was to establish the Corporate Sector Authority via the Corporate Sector Charter, in order to capitalize, expand and seize greater control of the sector. This plan was successful and a charter was created despite great debate and discussion. The League would later formally pitch the concept to the Galactic Emperor Palpatine who, provided details of the charter from his spies, approved the League's plan, seeing great benefit to his own plans for complete dominion over the galaxy.
