The Great Tree, also known as the Big Tree, was a particular tree in Bright Tree Village that was sacred to the Ewoks, a species of diminutive sentients native to the Endor Moon. It was situated in a holy place in the forest, and the Ewoks believed that they all descended from it. The Bright Tree temple was built into the Great Tree, and was the site of the wedding of Han Solo and Leia Organa.
