The Jannimak crash site was a location where the research vessel known as the Jannimak mysteriously crashed into the planet Dantooine at some point around 3622 BBY. Sometime after the disaster, Doctor Pordav with Galactic Sustainability Institute, a subsidiary of Galactic Solutions Industries, led the response to the planet and set up an outpost near the crash site.
