Jedi temple (Bathoris)
Canon Linked from 4 articles
According to legend, a Jedi temple of the Jedi Order was located on the Outer Rim moon Bathoris. At some point between around 5000 BBY and before 1032 BBY, a rare fragment of a fresco relating to the ancients and their use of the Force was uncovered during a Jedi expedition and transferred to the temple. When the Sith Lord Darth Caldoth learned of the fragment, he launched a surprise attack on the temple to steal it. Caldoth came close to obtaining the artifact, killing many Jedi Temple Guards and several Jedi Knights. However, the Jedi Knight Bran Ath'Morath was able to repel Caldoth from the temple's inner sanctum and keep him locked in a duel until more Jedi rallied and forced him to retreat. Years later, Caldoth lured Ath'Morath away from the temple on Bathoris by attacking the planet Kizan, where he was able to kill the Jedi.
