The Jedi Temple refectory or simply the Jedi refectory was the dining room located in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Its tables were equipped with hologram displays which showed rolling schedules and menus. Jedi younglings would go there to eat breakfast after meditating on the Three Pillars at dawn. In 22 BBY, shortly after the beginning of the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi surprised Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, his former Padawan, while he was watching podracing and eating soup in the refectory to inform him that he would be instructing a class of Jedi younglings the next day.
