Korts Cantina was a cantina located on the moon that orbited the Outer Rim planet Dawk. During the Republic Era, the moon was the territory of the fugitive Devaronian criminal Coir Cion, who would frequent the establishment. Between around 40 BBY and 32 BBY, Cion discovered underworld dealings of Senator Sheev Palpatine—in reality, the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, who sent his Sith apprentice, Darth Maul, to kill the Devaronian. Maul interrupted Cion's game of Sabacc and slaughtered everyone inside the cantina.
