The Markenday Bar was a bar on the Unknown Regions planet Csilla in the Chiss Ascendancy, the nation of the Chiss species. In 18 BBY, Supreme General Ba'kif of the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet promoted Mid Captain Csap'ro'strob, core name "Apros," to the rank of Senior Captain and recommended he go to the Markenday Bar to celebrate with his now-former commanding officer, Senior Captain Irizi'in'daro "Ziinda". Shortly after, the supreme general informed Ziinda of her subordinate's promotion and suggested that she meet Apros at the bar to celebrate his ascension to senior captain.
