Mortex Sector HQ

Mortex Sector HQ was the Alliance to Restore the Republic Sector Headquarters for Mortex sector, located on the planet of Fangol during the Galactic Civil War. It was buried underground, and was powered by thermal collectors connected to the planet's molten core. Due to Fangol's atmosphere, an artificial moon was in geosynchronous orbit of the base to facilitate communications and sensor scans.

The base was staffed by around three thousand personnel. A third of the personnel were administrators; another third were support staff including laborers, doctors, and communication experts; and the final third were soldiers. The base's starship complement included five corvettes, six light freighters, and one hundred starfighters.

Major Lawra Mers was stationed at the base as field mission commander, coordinating dozens of Alliance strike teams across the sector.
