Moten estate

Canon Linked from 9 articles

The Moten estate was the home of Cellia Moten on the planet Dallow. A collector of rare artifacts, Moten would frequently invite individuals who acquired these relics for her, only to execute them and bury their bodies in the various gardens on her estate. During or after 18 BBY, Moten briefly played host to Phee Genoa, Tech and Omega and attempted to take a Caridan mortar from them, only for the trio to escape with the aid of Wrecker. The Moten estate was later visited by Imperial Security Bureau Agent Sendril Crane, who was looking for a link to his fugitive daughter Sohi, and nearly arrested Moten for criminal conspiracy, only for the industrialist to leverage her alleged friendship with Emperor Sheev Palpatine and Grand Vizier Mas Amedda to force Crane and his ISB team to help her locate Clone Force 99 and Genoa. While staying on the estate, Crane was ordered by the ISB to investigate the disappearance of Agent Krill Sans, who was investigating Moten, and learned that her cover had been blown and Moten had killed her after she discovered her mass graves. Moten threatened Crane into becoming her double agent in an effort to find out more information on Palpatine's secret project, which Crane agreed to out of self-preservation.

The Moten estate was later emptied by its occupants after one of Crane's informants tipped him off to the presence of their respective quarry on Tryth, before Moten hijacked Crane's mission. While she was away, the Galactic Empire destroyed the estate via orbital bombardment. Darth Vader would later show Moten a Galactic News Network broadcast of her estate's destruction when he confronted her.
