The Polar Plateau on Telos IV was located in the planet's polar regions. Massive and featureless, the ice plateau was a mesa in which the Telosian Jedi Academy was built by the Jedi Master Atris, the Jedi Order's leading historian. The Academy was built from the Telos Polar Irrigation System, which supplied fresh water to nearly every city on Telos from the distant polar regions prior to its abandonment in the aftermath of the Bombing of Telos IV.
