During the Cold War between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, the Sith Lord Sadic maintained a laboratory in the Imperial prison district of Shadow Town on Nar Shaddaa. He worked on mass-producing Power Guards there until his death at the hands of a Jedi Knight, and the commandos of Blackstar Squad destroyed the facility with explosives.
