Spero's plant shop

Spero's plant shop was a business owned and operated by the Ho'Din Spero on Coruscant circa 3 ABY.

It was found in the Southern Underground, and it stood out in the plaza among the run-down cantinas, flophouses and junk shops. Still, it was a respected landmark, as it improved the tenuous life of the denizens, providing freshness and beauty in that dark place. Spero sold an engineered yellow fungus that filtered the fetid air, which was much loved by bar proprietors, vagabonds and poor people who were living in hovels and pipe shelters. He also cultivated gray stikmoss, stretchy vines, flowering tendroots, as well as herbs with medicinal properties. Feather trees were also grown here.

It served as a common meeting place for fringers who sought information, old associates who needed his help, or patients with ailments, seeking some Ho'Din herbal remedies.

Leia, disguised in Boushh's armor, visited Spero to seek more information on Black Sun.

Later, Luke Skywalker and Lando Calrissian traveled to Coruscant upon receiving Chewbacca's message that Leia was held captive by Xizor. Disguised as Coruscant Guards, they were trapped inside as it came under attack by four armed men. Catching the attackers by surprise, Dash Rendar opened fire and quickly eliminated them before leading the Rebels to a nearby hotel to plan their next move.
