The Green

The Green, also referred to as the Greens, was an area on Corellia on the outskirts of Coronet City. It was a natural area that had much wildlife including creedoks and snomats. The Green was also the home to the Ongwa family after their nomadic travels brought them to Corellia. Upon arrival, they settled in the Greens, planing heirloom seeds which would flourish into a massive tree near their home.

Alys "Crash" Ongwa considered the Green to be her home, though by 230 BBY, her mother Baynoo Ongwa mostly lived there alone due to Crash's busy work schedule.

During the Nihil conflict a civil war broke out among Corellians over the Nihil, Crash Ongwa entered an unsavory alliance with the unscrupulous Ovus Buckell to help end the fighting. Buckell used his shady reputation to stage a fake double-cross of Ongwa, luring the Nihil to the Greens where Ongwa's crew was supposedly hiding out. When the Nihil arrived, Ongwa ordered an aerial bombardment of the Green, all but wiping out the Nihil presence on the planet.

Crash Ongwa's decision to destroy her home haunted her. She eventually returned to the desolate ruins of the Green and unsuccessfully attempted to dig for any remains of the family tree, hoping to salvage seeds from it.
