Unidentified algae-farming community

The Kessarine Fel Ix, alongside a handful of other Kessarine families, grew up in a small algae-farming community on the agrarian planet Atalia. At around 386 BBY, while Fel Ix and his clutchmates began choosing the challenge they would accept for their coming-of-age rituals, he met Er Dal, a young Kessarine barely older than him who had stopped on Atalia during a layover between transport shuttles, who was on his way from Kessar to join his extended family out on the frontier. With Er Dal's stories about the galaxy being more exciting than the promise of farming algae Fel Ix had grown up with, he ran away from the community and caught his next transport, eventually meeting Ferize and joining the Path of the Open Hand.
