The Wayfarer Quarter was a location in the Holy City of Jedha. In 382 BBY, the Jedi Vildar Mac and Matthea Cathley visited the Shrine of Sarrav in the quarter to investigate the theft of the Screen of the Second Sight.
Less than a year later, an unaffiliated Force user terrorized the area, using flames to demand protection money.
