Anza was a fiery red star located in the Abregado system of the galaxy's Core Worlds and the Interior that was orbited by the planet Abregado-rae, both of which were located in the grid square K-13 of the Standard Galactic Grid. Its dim light provided enough energy to sustain life on Abregado-rae.
In 22 BBY, it was the site of the Battle of Abregado during the Clone Wars, where the Separatist Subjugator-class heavy cruiser Malevolence single-handedly annihilated an entire Republic fleet. The battle resulted in the formation of a debris field, comprised of starship wreckage, in orbit of Anza.
