Bazaar was a trade world located in the Bazaar system, a part of the Halthor sector in the New Territories portion of the Outer Rim Territories. The distance between Bazaar and the Tamarin sector's Dravian Starport could be traversed in twenty-three days using a starship equipped with a Class 1 hyperdrive. During the Galactic Civil War, the Dravian Starport–based company Topatz Shipping offered free-traders a job of transporting one hundred tons of imitation gemstones to Bazaar for 4,500 credits.
