The Borkeen Belt, also known as the Borkeen asteroid belt, was a dangerous asteroid belt situated in the Outer Rim Territories' Belsmuth sector. It was home to an eighty-meter-long exogorth that was discovered by 22 BBY by scientists from the University of Sanbra. At some point after the formation of the Galactic Empire, the author Rogar Farnoster wrote the novel The Slug Named Grendel, which mentioned both the Borkeen Belt and Grendel, a giant exogorth living therein that was also the subject of a pilot legend.
