Carnovia

Carnovia was a humid waterworld located in the Carnovia system, a part of the Hutt Space portion of the Slice. The Kaaga Run hyperlane linked it to the Circumtore and Nar Kaaga systems. The depths of Carnovia were inhabited by gigantic creatures known as the Carnovian eels. On that world, many beings enslaved by members of the Hutt species worked at pens where young Carnovian eels were raised due to the Hutts considering them delicacies. Besides eel farming, Carnovia was also known for the production of foodstuffs in general.

Carnovia served as the base of operations of the Hutt Vermilic clan, and the Floating Palace of the clan's leader Minalod was situated at the center of a large lake and was surrounded by eel pens of various depths. The Vermilic kidnapped scientists from enslaved species to develop counterfeit versions of in-demand processed foods, which the Hutts then distributed in the galaxy. The best of those scientists worked and lived at the Floating Palace.
