Vermilic

Vermilic was a Hutt kajidic and one of the younger clans among the other Hutt kajidics. Unlike more traditional Hutt families, Vermilic’s operations centered on the production and distribution of exotic foodstuffs and intoxicants considered unusual within Hutt society. The kajidic became particularly well known for farming the popular Hutt delicacy known as the Carnovian eel. During the early years of the New Republic, a young member of the Vermilic clan triggered a major trading collapse that lasted for three months. As a result of this economic disaster, the Vermilic kajidic was eventually forced into bankruptcy.
