Culroon III, also known as Culroon, was a terrestrial astronomical object located the Culroon system of Wild Space, situated in grid square P-20 of the Standard Galactic Grid. It was inhabited by Culroonians.
Shortly before the Battle of Hoth in 3 ABY, the Culroonians fought the Empire in a campaign on Culroon III after a revolt there. The human male Maximilian Veers fought on Culroon III as an Imperial combatant, winning the campaign for the Empire. The courage, cunning, and leadership Veers demonstrated on Culroon III led to his promotion to the rank of general in the Imperial Army, and assignment to the Sith Lord Darth Vader's Death Squadron. Culroon III was mentioned in a profile on Veers in the Galactic Explorer's Guide authored by the pirate Hondo Ohnaka and his protocol droid DK-RA-43 after the Battle of Starkiller Base in 34 ABY.
