Galara

Galara was a planet located in the Roche sector's Galara system, within the Mid Rim Territories and the Slice. It was situated in grid square Q-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid. Galara shared its name with galara tealeaf, a type of warm beverage originating from the same star system.

By the time of the Imperial Era, Galara was considered a reasonably wealthy world. While infiltrating the Hammers criminal syndicate on the planet Thorum around 13 BBY, the Crimson Dawn operative Qi'ra—using the name of Elesa Norre—posed as a grain buyer from Galara. Her falsified background and its details were created by a slicer working for the operation's leader, a Mizi. The Hammers leader—Dennet Clyde—believed the ruse, offering Qi'ra a contract for delweed grain.
