Holpern was a terrestrial astronomical object located in the Holpern system within the Arkanis sector of the Outer Rim Territories and the Slice. It was situated in grid square R-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid and was home to large tree cows.
By around 161 BBY, during the High Republic Era, the human Jedi Padawan Indara had visited Holpern and gasped in wonder at the tree cows. Around 160 BBY, when Indara was a Jedi Knight and traveled to the Outer Rim planet Ingae, she mentally recalled her travels to various locations including Holpern, but noted those travels had not prepared her for Ingae's beauty.
