Kaifo

Kaifo was an astronomical object in the Kaifo system of the Colonies that was under the control of the Galactic Empire during the Imperial Era. Despite the location being considered peaceful it saw an eighteen percent increase in conviction numbers from 5 BBY to 3 BBY as a result of the Public Order Resentencing Directive. In 3 BBY, senator Mon Mothma tried to use the conviction numbers to presuade a fellow senator to vote with her in challenging a recent extension to the P.O.R.D.
