Kilia IV

Kilia IV was the homeworld of Kilian Rangers and Kilian Banthas.

Kilia IV, the only planet suitable for habitation in the Kilia system, was a rugged, mountainous world, with inhospitable badlands and one lush valley, where its people had settled in one town and scattered rural farms and fortresses.

Descendants of a lost colony that left the Core Worlds during one of the earlier expansion periods, the Kilians have had almost no contact with the Republic or Empire in over a thousand years.

Most Kilians led simple lives as farmers and herders, using technology no more advanced than iron tools and oil lanterns. Only members of the noble houses retained access to higher technology, and even they lacked speeders, starships and vibro-weapons.

Noble houses of Kilia IV included House Fardor, House Tionc and House Wallon.
