Koshaga was a Wild Space planet that was home to the Koshagan people. Many Koshagans were part of the Koshagan People's Movement, an armed rebellion that fought against Koshaga's tyrannical ruling class. However, around 3 ABY, the Galactic Empire intervened on Koshaga, crushing the People's Movement in a swift operation that sent the survivors into full retreat across the Koshagan Lowlands. A week after the operation, a Rebel Alliance recruiter secretly went to Koshaga on a transport and left a day later, the Koshagan Emon Kref having enlisted with them.
