Lefrani
Canon Legends version → Linked from 15 articles
Lefrani was a gas giant planet located in the Atravis sector of the Outer Rim Territories' Western Reaches portion, in the Mustafar system, at grid square L-19 of the Standard Galactic Grid. In close orbit of the small world of Mustafar, Lefrani was in a constant state of tug-of-war with a neighboring gas giant, Jestefad, both in an attempt to make Mustafar into their moon with their gravitational pull. As a result, Mustafar was effectively transformed into an unstable world of magma and rock.
Several millennia ago, Lefrani and Jestefad were pulled out of their orbit of the star Priate during a cataclysmic struggle between the Jedi and Sith. As a result, both gas giants were pulled close to the smaller world of Mustafar, suspending the planet on an erratic path between their gravitational pulls.
