Montross was a planet in the binary star Montross system in the Truum sector of the Mid Rim Territories. By 2 BBY, Montross had fallen under the control of the Galactic Empire, which established Skystrike Academy, an elite flight academy for future TIE fighter pilots, in its atmosphere. The Vaathkree Trade Corridor connected Montross to the celestial bodies Contruum and Gizer.
