Moon of Avedot

The Moon of Avedot was a mountainous moon of the planet Avedot in the Colonies region's Avedot system that hosted the New Republic impound facility Base 354-23X. Eventually, the base was decommissioned, but still held a cache of confiscated weapons taken from pirates years before. In 34 ABY, Resistance members Finn and Poe Dameron embarked on a mission to raid the base for supplies during its war against the First Order.

The operatives were pursued by the Kendoh Gang, a crew of bounty hunters that hoped to collect the First Order's bounty on Finn. The Kendoh Gang nearly succeeded in capturing both, but Finn and Dameron managed to escape with most of the impounded weapons. By 35 ABY, the Artiodac chef Strono "Cookie" Tuggs briefly stayed on the moon, which inspired him to make cakes known as Avedot Cakes.
