Morodin homeworld

An astronomical object was the homeworld of the Morodins, a species of large, sentient lizard-slugs. In order to support the growing population of their homeworld, the Morodins established an agricultural colony on the Outer Rim planet Varonat around 26,053 BBY. The Morodin used organic space vessels to transport the foodstuffs produced on Varonat back to their homeworld; however, they eventually lost their ability to create their organic starships following an ecological disaster on their homeworld. Following the disaster, the colony on Varonat was cut off and left to its own devices. By 8 ABY, the Morodins known to the wider galaxy were from Varonat and knowledge of the Morodin homeworld had been lost.
