Oktaro

Oktaro was the home planet of a human culture known as the Oktarians. It was located in the Oktaro system in Lannik Space, within the Mid Rim Territories. During the Clone Wars, it was invaded by the Confederacy of Independent Systems and liberated by the Galactic Republic. Three years later, however, the planet fell under the control of the Galactic Empire, who renamed it G3-477. Once they took control of the planet, the Empire drove the Oktarians from the coastal areas to the deserts where they wanted to dig. The period between the Clone Wars battle and the Imperial occupation became known as the "Dennig-Far."
