Ord Mynock was a planet in the Mynockra system of the Outer Rim Territories' Prefsbelt sector. It was originally settled during the Old Republic as a communication relay. As trade lanes shifted elsewhere, the planet fell into relative obscurity.
It was a lush world, but very dangerous. Most of the flora and fauna were hostile and deadly. They include vicious crushing vines and hover-vehicle-eating plants. There was also the threat of pirates. Ord Mynock was believed to be the homeworld of the Mynocks.
ComNet Corporation was based in the Ord Mynock Freeport on Ord Mynock.
