Oyokal
Canon Legends version → Linked from 4 articles
Oyokal was a terrestrial agricultural astronomical object located in the territory of the Unknown Regions' Chiss Ascendancy nation, within Chiss Space's Oyokal system. It was situated in grid square E-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid. Oyokal was the homeworld of Chiss Senior Captain Xodlak'in'daro "Lakinda," who came from a poor family that was a part of a farming community there. On Oyokal, an old Chiss told her: "When you see the saddlebull is about to throw you, jump off."
She later joined the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet and the Ascendancy's Xodlak family. In 18 BBY, Lakinda feared that she would be returned to her old family after having failed to claim a fake nyix metal mine owned by the Agbui species for the Xodlak, and she instead joined the Irizi ruling family.
