Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

Ozu was a terrestrial world located in the Ozu system, a part of the Anoat sector. It was situated in the Greater Javin region within the Western Reaches portion of the Outer Rim Territories. The world lay on the super-hyperroute known as the Corellian Trade Spine, which connected it to the Isde Naha and Orn Kios systems of the neighboring Yarith sector. Ozu was a quiet world of sustenance farmers living on small farms. It was rarely visited by offworlders. A small starship fuel station was situated atop a mountain on Ozu. It was the most frequent reason for visits to the world by spacers.

After the Galactic Republic's victory in a war against the nearby civilization of the Mugaari species at some point between approximately 1000 BBY and 600 BBY, the former established the Javin sector in the former Mugaari Space. Around 400 BBY, the portion of the sector containing Ozu was re-designated as the Anoat sector.
