Parau VI was a dying planet located in the galaxy's Expansion Region. Members of the B'ankora species who were residents of the B'ankor Refuge on the Galactic Empire's capital of Coruscant were relocated to Parau VI after the rise of the Empire so an Imperial research complex could be built where the refuge was located.
